Oh, this is so true. I hate overly long, pretentious, articles. Don't wax philosophical for days, just get to the point, lol. Well, that's how I feel about most general information topics anyway.
With important topics, I like a good deal of information, but it also needs to be presented in a way that is engaging.
I prefer they don't try to lead me along for an entire page before getting to the good stuff.
