Capcom release the demo for Street Fighter 6 story mode and its awesome. 1st its the first updating story mode in history of fighting games, This story mode will have additional adventures whenever there is a dlc characters. Capcom promises to support it for `10 years. This is not like Street fighter 5 story mode where it got abandoned after the ending.


The protagonist will be your avatar, A character you created. It can be any gender, any body type and age. Nothing is impossible. You can make the most good looking character and the ugliest character ever. It won't matter. The customization is amazing.



In the game story, You are applying for a position for a security agency. Your first trainer will be Luke.


This is Bosch, he is going to be your self proclaimed Rival, he will Bully you even if you make your character a girl.


After you beat Boesch , Luke will tell you to go outside and fight people. Street Fighter 6 is set in Metro City, A city where everyone is a Martial artist and loves to fight. You can challenge every single NPC in existence from a teenage boy who wants to go to school, To a grandma who was on her way to play Bingo. The person will respect you after you beat the crap out of them. After you graduate from Luke, You will learn all of his movies.

Once you are done with Luke, Your next trainers will be Chun-li, I guess your next rival will be her daughter.


Every playable character can become your Master. Imagine doing Ryu's Hadouken then doing Chun-li's spinning bird kick. You can combine the attacks of every street fighter. You can compete in tournaments and fight avatars online.



If you prefer the classic characters, they are playable in online ranked matches, vs mode, arcade mode etc.

I had so much fun with the story mode beating the crap out of each Metro City citizen in the demo. I can't wait to meet Ken and talk to him about his divorce then beat the crap out of him then he teaches me shoryuken.

Since I only have the Demo, I am stuck with Luke.

Most fighting game storymodes, ends the moment you defeat the final boss. This one will be continues until the end of the PS5 era. So it will have new content per new season. They wont abandon it.

I had been playing the demo for days, Trying to beat up all Metro City residents. I cant wait for the full game.

Nah its not the reason, Street Fighter 5 focuses too much on esports crowd. That's why story mode got abandoned. Street Fighter 6 made them realize how important the casual players and single players are who just like the characters and lore and has no ambition to be the next Justin Wong and Daigo Umehara.

Many street fighter characters are inspired from real people but I dont think they will add real people.

The demo consumed me the last few days. It is so fun, I tried all available characters and Jamie might become my main. Once the full game arrive I will test the other characters so I can find my main. They balance Ryu and Ken, Hadouken spamming wont work.

Chun-li will have a Volley ball costume?



Someone leaked the arcade mode of the game. There is no Universal final boss, JP is not even a villain, he just happens to have the same powers with MBison. Rather than messing up with a canon where every single character defeats the final villain.... Each character is given a personal boss instead. Like if You play Chun-li your final Boss is Juri. If you play Luke your final boss is Ryu. I think its their way to make each ending canon. I mean Street Fighter II have a messy storyline since everyone beats M.Bison to get their ending. Characters are given their rivals instead.
