Mostly this came from fake religion leaders or those that don't know how to make money their self so they begin to manipulate people in the name of religion for financial benefit.

Catholic Church makes Billions of dollars with no Tax. So as the other Christian sects. Islam promotes Polygamy so their population grows fast and it gives them numbers.

Rightfully said. Religion is definitely a business. Without the false talk, the ones preaching the fake religion cannot survive!

What can I say when some self acclaimed men of gods have turned religion to a family business
Very appealing thing I can't just understand this.

I would like to say this; It depends on the person's perspective about it. I personally don't see religion as a business though majority have evidence on the issue.

Those that called themselves are using religion for business but those that called by God does by spirit.

Some religious church usually promotes some raffle tickets or even bingo games as charity event during Christmas and fiestas. I know it is usually called fundraising but kinda a business also.

Pastors now adays do preach about donating and paying offerings and also bring up church project and stuff just to milk the people because I don't think it is relevant if truely you believe in God.

Starting a new religion in America is like an easy money. A thousand members is enough to get you settled for life and you can use the members to make referral attempts.

Maybe you could try starting an online one and focus on attracting members from the US?

United States residents are the most mentally liberated country in the world. It is difficult to hoodwink them with religion.

LOL you are wrong, new christian sects are being invented yearly in America. If you have Charisma and great ability to manipulate people your sect will succeed.

The Kardashians recently founded their own Christian Church and all earnings go to Kris Jenner.

There are liberal Americans but remember America is part of the bible belt. Half of Americans are republicans and they are religious. Also not all liberals are atheist. Liberal religions exist like the muslim and christian sects in the US that are LGBT friendly.

There is also a cult in American called Goddess movement which worships a female God. Heck there is a religion in the US that worships Mariah Carey called Lambs.

Religion is business to people in it for the money, but true religion is about worship and service to humanity.
