For a Whole year this guy is not a part of the consumer rat race. He will not be affected by inflation and bad economy because he grows and forages his own food. His backyard is a complete food forest. He also made a deal with his neighbors and they allowed him to use their lawns into food gardens, so every street on his village is a food source for him. If he craves meat, he catches fish in the ocean or harvest deers. He is top level homesteader. Most likely his salary goes to electric bills,taxes and water bills only. He have a lot of extra money because he doesn't buy food anymore. This what you call financial freedom. If he will have solar panels and electric car, he will be completely free. He even grows his own medicines.

What an interesting way to live! Of course, at first, it will involve a lot of research and discipline. I wonder if he buys a cake for himself during his birthdays?

He grows cassava roots to make flour and he manage to make bread with them. So maybe if he wants cake, he also DIY with.

he grows spices so that can make him free from salt. Mushrooms are nature's msg. He also keeps bees for honey so no need for him to have sugar

That is what i call smart living. Whatever happens to the economy he will always go to bed with a full stomach. Inflation has hit so hard, that everything is expensive, and living smart like he is a luxury. Add that to his health, i consider him the healthiest man alive right now. His years on earth are far from over.

While what this guy is doing is commendable, it's not a life for ME, personally! I mean, I simply don't have the time to do what he does. And even if I wanted to grow my own veggies, I don't have my own private space in which to do it. If I did, I'd give it a shot.

If I become a president, I would ask every citizen of my country to meet up in a very large land for farming atleast once in a week, I believe that will help boost the economy growth by 34%.

I truly commend this guy for his hard work, he won't have to worry about a lot of things expecially the food part.

This guy is also from Florida, Florida have Iguana Problems. He makes money by killing the Iguana, Floridian government pays volunteers to kill iguanas and he gets free food. Iguana is edible and its like the Rabbit or goat of the Reptile world because its Vegan.



Iguana tasted like chicken but more sweeter because Iguanas eats fruit. He makes money from hunting invasive Iguanas and makes free food from eating the iguanas. He only eats the Legs and the tails because they are the meatiest parts and he have no time for gutting.

He also hunts other invasive animals in Florida like Ducks, Catfishes, rabbits etc.

I have made a feasibility study on the issue of growing your own food. Even if I would have a vast tract of land, I cannot live with that kind of survival. You have to understand that vegetables have their life span. If you planted 10 heads of cabbage or lettuce, what will you do if you need to harvest all the 10 all at the same time? You can eat a cabbage of 2 and throw the rest or feed it to the animals. But tomorrow you have no more cabbage to eat.

Edible trees with edible leaves like Moringa, Cassava,Chayamansa,Tree collards,Linden and Katuk are better option because they are perennial.

Well I was referring to my local vegetables called ugwu, you don't have to harvest these ones at once. They last longer and you harvest them bit hy bit

I wish I could do this, but I live in a city and there are not many places for gardening a lot of apartments don't even have yards and people aren't nice like that to let you grow food in their yard. I live in a place of mostly concrete, metal, and glass. I would love to be able to depend on the land and myself and not have to buy groceries. There are also certain things you just cannot find where I live. And we have super harsh, LONG winters so there wouldn't be any food then at all unless you grocery shop. I'm talking like enough snowfall to be taller than my height which is 150cm/5ft. If you lived on the west coast USA or in the south that would work. It would also work great in Australia, but in the midwest and the eastern USA it never would. Nor would it in Canada.

Lol, you don't have to be in the same state or city with this guy you can start yours wherever you are. Just behind your home you can grow anything on it no matter how small it is

I really admire this guy !
Most of one's earning mostly rush down to groceries but this guy is gonna be saving hell a lot !
