I agree there. Raliance Jio has been a breakthrough there. Our country lacks a lot of facilities, some even the basic ones. But when it comes to cheap Internet we are quite ahead.

It would be great for many people. Maybe it's impossible to set free the unlimited domestic wifi, but it would be great for mobile sim datas. Here in Latin America there are shameful fees: for ex. we pay 25 BRL (5 dollars today) to have 4 GIGA monthly only (in the mobile) and this is one of the smallest fees, while in the European countries people have 50 GIGA per month in their mobile sim for the price of 10 euros.

Yeah the BSNL wifi offers 1 month service for just $10 , unlimited internet. And also jio recharge plans are the best.

It would be really helpful if free internet could include domestic wifi. There would never be unemployed people forced to quit the possibility to work online because the internet bill highly overcomes the earnings, as happens among the countries where bills are simply a true shame. When domestic wifi has no other purpose than online earning tasks, unfortunately it makes no sense to pay a bill that is very much higher than the online earnings.

It should be free with a limit on the data a person (IP) can use in a day and hopefully this will help everyone that has free time to earn online and for education purpose too so it should be.

I think internet needs to be cheap and some of the services need to be paid so that rest of the internet can have free service. making everything free is not sustainable or free in the long run.

Internet is a service/utility so I don't expect it to be free. However, I do think everybody should have access to it since nowadays it's pretty much necessary for everyday life, so more help should be provided for those who can't afford it.

Who wouldn't love to have the internet free. But, it doesn't look like it's ever gonna happen. The internet providers can atleast make the internet a little inexpensive for us.
