I have not checked any new sites since a long time. I have accounts on only four sites and I am active only on two. When I cannot become active even on the sites where I have account, I see no points in joining new sites.

I feel it is all about my mood and how catchy and attractive I find a particular site that day. If I am in mood of searching and trying out new paying site in a different genre, which I haven't tried out before - I will surely give it a try.

If I hear good thing about a site from someone I trust, it spurs me on to find out what it's about. But it also has to align with my interests and skills. For instance, if I hear about a fantastic PTC site that pays, I'm not motivated to join the site because I have no interest whatsoever in these types of sites. But if a friend told me about a writing site that accepts everyone and pays a good rate, I'd be very, very interested.

I am motivated with a new earning site if it is having the reputation of genuine site. If it pays well and regularly. And finally if the members and the Admin are friendly or not! If I find all these factors in my favor then I join the site!

I think first off, the reputation of the site matters. If it is a new site I'm trying out, I need to be very comfortable with the method of earning. Also, the site must be very welcoming and user friendly.
