Many of us cannot live without Youtube but sometimes our ISP or internet service providers are being pain in the neck with glitchy videos that wont play and other shenanigans that can trigger you to scream. Just remembering those experiences makes me want to scream but thankfully I don't deal with those Youtube problems anymore because of these methods I discovered during desperate measures.
So how can you still enjoy Youtube if your internet connection is not cooperating with you.
Here are some simple tips you can do when those bad internet connection days happens again.
1. Use ad blocking browsers exclusively for Youtube- I use chrome for social networks and earn online sites but I use a different browser for youtube to save me from those ads that slows down the progress of videos I want to watch. Also recently I encountered a 15 minute unskippable ad on Youtube for a 2 minute content I want to watch. I recommend browsers like Maxthon, Brave and Avast secure browser because they block video ads and it helps to run the videos you want to watch faster. Ads always cancel the buffer you collected from pausing the video. You won't be losing buffers if the ads are blocked.
2.Drop the resolution quality of the video. I love watching food vlogs of Mike Chen, He travels around the world and enjoyed the local cuisine. He is currently in a country I am very unfamiliar with, The Philippines, I want to watch the video because I know nothing about this country aside from the people can speak English. Here is the problem though, The video won't play because the resolution is 4k high definition. Yes HD videos looks great for our eyes but for people with crappy internet the video won't play.

Look what happened after I dropped the video quality to 360p.It works like magic trick!

The moment I dropped the quality, the video started playing smoothly with no problems. I know many people refuses to watch videos not in HD but we need to make some sacrifices. I rather have a low quality video than a video that wont play and buffer. I highly recommend this method if videos refuses to play.
3. Download the video- Yup sometimes a video that refuses to play can be downloaded! if your internet connection though is way too slow, you can download the lowest quality version of the video. If you are able to tolerate watching a movie from the 1970's or a tv show from the 90's then you will be able to tolerate a low quality video.
There are 2 ways to download Youtube videos, If you are using a mobile device, the Youtube app have a download option so you can watch videos offline.
If you are a PC user, Genyt.com can give you the option to download Youtube videos and that includes videos blocked in your country. Genyt gives you the option to download Youtube videos in different resolutions and formats.
