I never used the Orkut, but I know that was very used. Unfortunately, with the emergence of social networks like Twitter, facebook and other, Orkut turned out to be outdated and closed. Yes I used orkut but then my friends started using facebook and twitter and they made facebook groups when a new theme came up.... And for me orkut started to become obsolete

The site is slowly dying, probably there won´t be one day. The sites losing active users so it would be down soon.

I did not know orkut had closed, but yes i used orkut few years ago but for shorte time because then I saw more people to use facebook and twitter and so I never went back to orkut :/

Same here, I though that the site is still alive, in 2014 I was checking it and it worked, probably somewhere in 2015 they closed it.

I was using since 2006 to last day. There ware so many communities and forum and i find out most of them very useful. I think it should reopen again. Google need to give a shot about it!
