I been having this lil project recently and I am new to this gaming thing, what is the best gaming controller for the PC?

I want it to be like a xbox controller or ps4 controllers, anyone have any experience with making these compatible with a PC?

I've never used any xbox or ps4 or simillar stuff , but I've heard ps4 is better.

I think Xbox One controller is the best and it works on PC. Alternatively get cheaper 360 controller.
