ForumCoin Faucet !

Postby A K Rao » 15 Oct 2018, 17:59

I think most of us must be the members of Forum Coin faucet! Do you always keep the ForumCoin Faucet 'On' while working on the internet? Yes, I do keep it 'On' so that I can make some fraction of cents to my earnings!

Not always, but mostly I do. Most claims I got when I watch series. I share my screen on two parts, bigger and smaller. On smaller is faucet and on bigger series or movie.

I always keep the FC faucet browser open, but I don't claim every five minutes. I claim whenever I see that it's available, but I don't go out of my way to check if it's ready. If I'm watching a 45 minute show, I'll claim only after the episode is finished. I won't stop every 5 minutes to claim.

I have the faucet open in a tab while I'm working in the browser and click on it when I think of it, even if I'm not doing anything with Forum Coin at the time. I probably don't do it every 5 minutes, but often enough that it's still useful for me.

I came to know of the faucet so late and it is me who has to be blamed. Now I am active on it and making maximum claims each day. It is easier to do and I keep claiming in between my chores too on my phone. :)

I am new to it and came to know of it only after this post of AKRao. I wonder how I could be so ignorant. It took few weeks for my account to be activated there and that further delayed it. Now I am happy to claim everyday as much possible and I have earned more than 50 FCs so far from there.

Wow seeing this thread reminded me to check the faucet. I just logged into it and made a claim. Usually when I have the faucet open I forget to claim every five minutes. I definitely don't hit the maximum.

I joined FC more than two years ago, and I started to claim from FC faucet since it was launched. I can't remember, I think at the beginning it was 0.14 or 0.12 FC for a short while, and we don't need to enter any captcha. I just checked I have claimed over 400 FC, but after the first few months or so, I started to be just lazy.

I just saw it's 0.04FC now.

It will be deposited directly to your ForumCoin account, it's not satoshi, but forum coin.

I think it is something like 7 per claim but the value of BTC changes often while the rate of FC is static and the claim rate of the faucet is actually quite static even though alot of people keep talking of it changing. It only usually changes every couple of months. Unfortunately when it does change it is almost always down though.

The reason for that is we use on static banner ads. These either pay for unique views (in other words, it doesn't matter if you visit and don't claim or 100 times a day, I only earn one small amount) or PPC advertising which only earns me money if someone clicks them. All these are through low paying ad networks. Over the almost 2 years since I started the FC faucet, most decent adnetworks either stopped supporting faucets or turned bad/scam. Most faucets nowadays survive by forcing users to complete short links (which are full of ads including adsense which allows url shorteners) and popunders. I use neither of them on my FC faucet. Therefore even at the current rate it is not profitable for me to run. I therefore run it on the basis "if you want to use it use it, if not don't"
