This is something about cats.(I swear this is technology based)

Postby Netherrealmer » 15 Jul 2018, 08:04

You may ask me, Why the hell are you posting a topic about cats in the computers and technology section of Forumcoins... Nope This topic about cats have something to do with technology.

The sound of a Cat's purr have lots of health benefits. If you have injury on your bones the vibration and sounds of a cat's purr can help your bone injuries heal faster. It won't cure your injury but it help you on your recovery. The sound of a cat's purr also have the ability to lower your heart rate which relieves your stress. I also remember an old finding that people who hear cat's purr or experience the vibration of cat's purr decreases the chances of having heart diseases.

This video talks about the benefits of the purr.

Here is the problem though,

1.Some you don't like cats or allergic to cats.

2. You have a cat but you can't hear it's purr because your place is noisy.

3. Your cat don't like the idea of you sticking your ears to his chest so you can hear his purr.He will scratch you if you keep trying to hear his purr.

Thanks to Technology you can now have the benefits of a cat purr without the risk of being clawed on the face.

These are recorded videos of Cat's purring using a 3do microphone. 3do microphone can record even the lowest of all sounds. So now you can have the benefits of a cat's purr without covering your face with fur.

Listen to the sound of this 1 hour video while doing any of your activities like writing for Forumcoin and other stuff. As you listen to the vibrations of the purr,I swear you will feel better.

It can also helps you sleep if you are dealing with insomnia. You need to watch with a headset to feel the benefits of a purr.

After listening to purrs. My head felts lighter and I can breathe better. I also felt energized. If I try hearing the Purr the natural way instead of listening to a video, My cat might have scratched me like crazy.

If you put your cat close to your chest, Your heart will get the purr vibration. I have a cat but I prefer the digital purrs since there won't be scratching.

I never was a cat person. However, since I bought my house I started to really enjoy cats :) (there are a lot of cats, here)
They are funny, cute and are always interested in searching and analyse everything that moves :) I really enjoy see them.
Last year, a cat had his kittens in the yard next to mine. No one care about them, so I tooked the 3 kittens. They are mine now ;)

So, is this like a meditation form like the one with relaxing sounds or music to make you sleep or relax but with the cats. We have cats but I doubt I will do it. I prefer to listen the video though.

The risk of having fur on the mouth and nose or being scratched is not worth it. The video have the same benefit minus the mess. Though placing the cat on your chest is good for the heart because of the purr vibrations.

I love cats, in fact I love all animals. I lost mine a year ago aged 19 but probably won't get another one until my dogs have gone. Cats are a lot easier to look after than dogs. They are not so needy if you go away as long as you have someone to feed them and give them a little company each day.

I can believe that cats are good for you, mine used to have a very calming influence on me if I had a bad day .. apart from that thing they do with their paws when they are happy, drawing their claws in and out. They are like little needles! :o

I see what you did there. Our cats are street cats or wild. I can't barely touch them with my hands only my feet because I'm still frightened by them except on their mother cat.

I don't any pets in my home, not because I don't want to but my living facilities at the moment does not allow me to. I would prefer a cat to a dog though. Cats are smaller and cuter. Dogs are more messier.

Btw - why is this topic under CGT section? Isn't it supposed to be under General Chat or something similar?

Read it carefully, there is a reason why this topic is technology based. It has something to do with the 3DO mic and having the health benefits of a cat's purr without owning a cat thanks to a digital video I embedded.

Such claims are baseless. To establish such facts extensive studies are required where many experiments are to be conducted to be compared with a group subjected with such purrs and controlled group for every parameter mentioned. And when many such experiments are conducted and only if all have consistent results we can reach to a conclusion. Thanks!

It is not baseless as it has been approved by many doctors. Cats are now being used for therapy of many patients because of their purr. This experiment had been done multiple times for years. I will not post something that will ruin my reputation.
