For just normal people like us, who want to only share our life skills to others through youtube to earn, we cannot earn a lot. Comedians really have a large number of subscribers that would take me personally my life time to reach.

The best way to get more subscribers in youtube is by using a very resourceful facebook page. The page must have a large number of viewers, then you could talk to the admin, upon some payment to let you advertise your channel in his page. You could end with more subscibers than even some famous comedians.

My girlfriend is a comedian on Youtube, she use to make money out of it but her views declined because of algorithm changes and her subscribers are not getting notified. She is not a whole Youtuber, she got famous for making dirty jokes. She is not getting enough views to ask for Patreon. Youtube has done some fishy behaviour to its customers. The channels I subscribed too in the past just as you say, I am never notified of any new posted videos like before. I have to manually log in and search for new videos and the channels.

It's obviously the source of revenue on Youtube. Ads and well, their paid youtube subscription will give you revenue from the views on your channel. Although, you must have requirement to be qualified to monetize your videos.

Yeah, it seems like impossible for me since I only have 300 subscribers at the moment. and with the number of view hours, that's really tough to reach.
