There are a lot of these type of comments. I call it lazy posting because anyone can stick that on the end of a comment. I like to have proper conversations with people. Some of my chats with other members go on for days.

The earning seems to have gone down over the years. So many people are inactive.

These last days there are less people active, I think they have reached the minimum and now they reduced their activity. I have just reached the minimum yesterday but I will try to be more active during the next month.

That is the reason why I avoid one line flooders. It makes me wonder why some of those one line flooders are posting high quality comments here but posts unrepliable one liners in Mylot.

Because they can get away with it on MyLot but they would be picked up on it if they did it here. They are different types of sites though. Mylot is a social networking site and ForumCoin, as it's name says, is a forum.

Mylot supports quality over quantity; so short post will still work if they have quality.

Most of those short posts though lack quality. They don't even read discussions, they just comment on everything in sight. That use to be a violation but they tolerate it now.

Witch hunting in forums aka picking on comments quality of others and criticizing is in no way a quality content either.

I just look back on a golden age that has been gone. Mylot is not what it use to be. Getting replies from people who don't read what poured your heart and soul with is demotivating. I think criticizing is a actually a quality content because it pushes people to improve. It pushes a debate which causes more activity and traffic for the site.

I am on mylot since 2008. I left my account with real name in 2010 when mylot was having financial issues. I came back 3 years or earlier with new account. What I have noticed that people be it on mylot or any other place just hop over criticizing others comments, post and stuff and do witchhunting in all the forums. That adds no value to any forum. I am not going to name the names but they are in almost every forum that I know. If only witchhunting and countless threads of how to improve quality and pointing members posting would ever help, there would be no zombie forums and communities on web. Sites have monetization issues to deal with than spending time on witchhunts. But very few admins pay attention to that part. Witchhunts only keep people away from forums they don't bring revenue and traffic.

It can still help as it improved some people. There is no way you can convince everyone but you can at least influence some people to be model members. That is when it became helpful to the community. Actually Quality content can easily show up on search engines. People exchanging emojis and "have a nice days" don't. One more thing letting most the flooders do their thing also alienated people to quitting too. Do you think people won't criticize if there is no problem? Critics actually at least try making a change for the better.

I think we are just going to run around circles here.

This happens in every website, but my ways are different; I keep myself open and remains natural. Influence only when there is some real thing, I don't do faking.

yeah its not that active like it used to be on previous months and actually many users who used to be active there have either left or taking a break or busy with offline

Internet is proof people whine for the sake of it. Quality is subjective. One liner twitter ranks on top. 1k words article barely get views. That's the real world. Real problems are different. You are right we will go in circles. I don't do witchhunt in the name of improving quality. That was my point in earlier post. I'll stick by it.

@skysnap You wont change my opinion neither. I will continue and not stop avoiding copy paste 1 liner comment flooders because they are not worth it as they abuse the system. They don't attract advertisers and they won't appear on search engines.

Quality is subjective? No it's not as comment from people who don't read discussions and mass produces the same comments on every discussion on site is far from quality.

You can call it a witch hunt but I will call it as constructive criticism. I am also not hunting copy paste comment flooders, I avoid them. I hunt quality post makers because they are worth it. Talking to them makes you learn things. They gave you a real authentic discussion not an emoji exchange.

I notice a pattern on top discussions on Mylot. Most of them are posted 2:00 PM eastern time. Try convert it on your country's time zone.

My most successful discussion is also posted around that period.that to your location's time zone. My most successful discussion of all time is also posted on 2:00 PM eastern time.

Another top discussion is posted on 7:21 am Eastern time.

I think there are certain times where people are highly active.
