@SUPERSINGH People also hate being praised. They want an actual comment on their topic.

Post like like this can sound insulting :

Thanks for sharing that my friend.

I know many members are flooding multiple discussions with short comments without even reading the discussion.

I also experience some users that are not friendly and I was been scolded which is not really good that is why I am not anymore so active on that site but I do still appreciates those users that are mindful and friendly.

Some people call me "dear" on MyLot but I don't mind. I realise how laid back I am when I see how easily others get offended. In the UK the word "dear" is only used as an affectionate term for those we know well and not for online friends that we don't know personally. I think it's it more of a cultural thing, it is acceptable in some countries to do that so I don't say anything.

I think another guy calling me 'dear' is just creepy, it offends me, and I tell them so. I've seen some people on myLot yelled at by others for calling a guy 'Dude'. That was the point that I decided I have a name...use it.

I don't mind either, but theare people from many countries with different cultures and what can be consider an offense for some it isn't for others. I have learnt my lesson and it is better call people by their names.

It annoys a little bit getting those kind of answers but at the end is their problem because they won't get back responses that will allow them to earn more.

Actually yes, they have, and as I said I find it creepy. I guess in India guys call each other 'dear' (at least that is what they have claimed) but just NO

They have no idea their comment will make them more money if it's something you can reply on.

There are Mylotters who dont reply on the comments on their discussions. I have a way to get a discussion out of those threads. I invade that discussion until someone replies on me. It works well for me.

I always reply to the comments on my discussions or if someone commented on one of my comments. It is common courtesy to do so. Otherwise, how will you build up people who will be willing to give your discussions any thought. I have seen several people who will only post short comments or something that can't be stretched into even a small conversation to gain more money. It makes me wonder how successful they are on myLot.

To be honest I think I prefer the general chat. ForumCoin is good for money making information so I prefer to talk about other stuff there.

Agree, it's for people who like to interact, while pay just an incentive to it, not really much.
