I don't know why I feel bored posting at PostLoop always, especially recently, hence I always can't hit the daily post limit, or sometimes I don't even post one. I don't think I'd like to subscribe to more forums too, as I don't want my rating to be affected too.

sprite1950 wrote:It would seem from reading these posts that Postloop is far less popular than it once was. I have a 4.5 rating but I don't post there any more mainly because I got bored. I only belonged to SuperiorThan which had plenty to post on until they started to list the categories we were allowed to post in. Is it still like that?

I do not think there is a restriction as when I was active there I always wrote under discussion. I have gone there today and have done some work there I have several posts to work on but my writers' block is coming in my way.

Indeed activity is slowed down. and not much new content is being published either. So we have to learn from the mistakes.

That's fair. But the thing is that even if you do write properly. There is no assurance of better rating.

That's the one thing I hate about PostLoop... you could write well and still get a horrible rating that brings your overall score right down. I hate that at PostLoop it can feel a little bit like you're at the mercy of the forum owners, who aren't always fair. Some of them aren't even brave enough to show their faces, opting instead to rate writers anonymously, which tells me there's more to the way they rate people than meets the eye. If I were a forum owner and had conviction in my scores, I'd be all too happy to show my face and respond to questions from aggrieved writers. Just saying.

They are becoming stricter than before, and many members are not liking that.

Everyone is complaining about being under rated. I still don't understand why the admin is doing that.

I agree that the rating is the crux of the matter. Some are leaving just because of the unfair rating they get from forum owners.
