Peregrinate makes me think of Peregrine Falcons which in turn makes me think of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Awesome series but I didn't care for the movie. I didn't understand why they changed a particular piece of the story. Anyway, great word!

borborygmus - means the rumbling in the lower intestines Had no idea there would be a word for this but there you have it.

I hate when I have a borborygmus especially in public in a quiet space. How embarrassing.

Maunder
Verb (used without object)
[mawn-der]

1. to talk in a rambling, foolish, or meaningless way.

2. to move, go, or act in an aimless, confused manner:
He maundered through life without a single ambition.

Origin:
1615-1625; Maunder is perhaps a dialectal variant of meander (possibly influenced by wander).

Borborygmus is how my stomach sounds right now. I think it just said that word, but it could have just been maundering. Guess I shouldn't have skipped lunch and it wouldn't be growling at me.

Lackadaisical

Lazy or unenthused... I used to think it was laxadaisical, like being lax... lol

Oh, these are fun to say too. Now, I have to figure out how to use both gongoozler and coddiwomple in a sentence. I'm going to try them out on my daughter when she gets home, lol. I'm sure I'll get "the look" :eh:

Sinecure
Noun - [sahy-ni-kyoo r, sin-i-]

1. an office or position requiring little or no work, especially one yielding profitable returns.
2. an ecclesiastical benefice without cure of souls.

Origin:
1655-1665; Sinecure is from Medieval Latin sine cura, “without care (of souls),” from Latin sine, “without” + cura, “care.” Originally the term signified an ecclesiastical benefice without the care of souls.

“I was fortunate to receive the… offer, which in practical terms was a sinecure.”

breatharian (Noun)
~ One who lives without food, subsisting instead on prana or sunlight.

dariole (Noun)
~ A dessert consisting of puff pastry filled with almond cream, baked in an oven.

Additional clarification:
~ Dariole is a French term meaning a small, cylindrical mold. The word also refers to the dessert that is baked in the mold. Classically, the dessert is made by lining the mold with puff pastry, filling it with an almond cream and baking until golden brown. Today there are also savory darioles, usually made with vegetable custards. These were also cooked as dessert in the Middle Ages and sometimes they included fruit, bone marrow or fish inside the pastry.
