Budget earphones

Postby Sainfai » 30 Jan 2017, 18:10

I've been trying to buy some good cheap earphones for a while, but I have a lot of choices to chose from. Can someone recommend me some good earphones? (if you have any experience with them it's even better). Also, please say the price of the earphones. By cheap, I mean $20-$25 earphones.

I am not in a position to suggest a specific brand, unfortunately. But, with your $20-$25 budget, you should obtain a pair of good quality earphones.
I advise you to keep seeking advice.

What type of are you looking for? As in regular, in ear, over the ear? Price will vary accordingly. I suggest going for regular as they are safe and less frictional for ear. And can be purchased upto 20$.

True. Regular earphones would be more comfortable to use. I advise OP to try these.

I've had my SkullCandy earphones for about a year and they're still going strong! They cost me the equivalent of $35, and they are honestly the best earphones I've had so far. Even my Apple and Sennheiser ones, which are considerably pricier, weren't as good. The audio's great and they NEVER get tangled up, which is a HUGE bugbear of mine. The bits that go in your ear never last, but the SkullCandy ones are sturdy and a joy to use :D

I was thinking of regular earphones.

I've heard about them before, but unfortunately they're not available in my country and I can't seem to find a place I can buy them from without paying for shipping.

Why don't you look for a locally-available brand so as to avoid these shipment costs? I am sure you'll find a suitable gadget on your local Jumia store.

Aww that's such a shame! I'm almost certain you'd love them. Good luck finding something decent :) It's frustrating when sellers won't shop to certain part of the world. I often struggle to order from eBay and Amazon for that reason. I'm not sure what they base they decision on.

I don't seem to be able to find any that hold up very long, including the pricier ones. I just replace them with cheap ones, so I won't feel bad when I have to replace them again. Heck, the last cheapo ones that I bought for my daughter outlasted the ones that came with my phone.

I'll try to look for local shops, but my country doesn't really sell good cheap brands, only expensive ones. I thought I could maybe buy a good, but cheap pair online with free international shipping.

You can try "Gummy" earphones. They are about $10USD and they are good for their price. You can use ebay to find them and you might even find free international shipping.

Do they have Users Groups in your country, where other computer users meet together to discuss their problems and successes? That seems like it would be a better venue than an international forum, where we don't even know anything about your country and what is available. If they don't have any, maybe you should start one.

I think OP would obtain more useful information if he/she posted his/her question on social media pages dedicated to his/her country.

If you want the regular headphone then find any smartphone's headphone, you'd get it at lower price than those skullcandy and stuff. I have found sony's headphone and samsung's headphone good in terms of quality.

This used to be my standpoint too, thisnthat! That's until I discovered SkullCandy, and now I'm totally made up :) Honestly, they are the best so far for me, and I've gone through too many to remember them all, cheap and pricey. SkullCandy earphones are mid-range in terms of price, but are very durable. I've had mine for a good while and don't think I'll need to replace them any time soon :) Give them a shot.

I'll have to give those a look. Thanks.

It would be nice not to have to constantly replace them.
