I do not welcome everyone as a general rule, but when I do see a thread with interesting write-up or people I know, I do welcome them.

Yes of course, I do check the introduction forum every now and then and look for any new topic and then welcome the new comer.

I used to do that but realized I kept saying the same thing
Welcoming them is one good way of making them feel they made the right choice in joining the group or forum. Some forums though limit that task to their admins or mods.

I would feel bad myself if no one said a word to welcome me.

I am with you on this! I thought I read the rule about welcome new user, so I haven't done any.

Interesting question!

Yes, I usually do that, it is a friendly way to tell them that we are here to help and that we want them to feel at home and be active.

I'm always delighted to see new members on ForumCoin, so try to welcome all new members.

All members are encouraged to welcome new members, it is something new members appreciate and we certainly don't have any rules against it :)

I was just thinking how fond I am of many members of this site. It's really easy to get to know the regular posters here whereas on a site the size of MyLot there are so many users you never really make that connection unless you already know them and even then you might not see them for days.

I find this site very friendly and to get to the point, I love it when new people come here, I think it's necessary to bring new ideas and opinions to the site. I probably don't welcome them enough but I will make an effort to do this now I've seen this topic. :D

I try to welcome newbies, but sadly don't get to every single one of them. Sometimes there are quite a few in one day, and I don't want to sound like I'm just regurgitating one generic welcome message LOL But on a serious note, I think it's a lovely gesture because I know how it feels to be the newbie, not knowing how to navigate your way around the site, not knowing how people will receive you etc. I think it's nice to let all new members know that they are most welcome here at ForumCoin, to make them feel at home and to show them what a warm welcoming community we are :)
