I live in a local city in our archipelago. This December 15 would be the opening of Christmas Festival of Lights which attract various visitors and tourism from all over the country and even outside. And in the last week of April is our local Pasalamat Festival of a week-long merry making and its culmination is the a Search for Festival Queen, street dancing.

I live in Central Kansas. It is famous for the "Gunslingers and Old West Cattle Drives." Also Native Americans, Buffalo, and range free animals.

My town is around 1200 people with a larger city 25 miles away.

It is flat and prairie type of land. Total rainfall for the year is around 20 to 25 inches.

@Arpit....I have to agree with Fergal; you city is breathtakingly beautiful!

Oh dear, my city of Gaborone is not really well known for anything really. It's a smallish, unassuming city that's very lacking in skyscrapers LOL Visitors to Gaborone often remark that for a city, Gaborone is rather flat. The city is growing fast and the landscape is changing at an alarming rate so I'd say in 5 years we'll probably see a very different Gaborone. Compared to other places in Botswana, Gaborone is admittedly not very interesting. Just being honest.

I live in a fairly small town called Cedar City, Utah, USA. There's a 4 year college here and Cedar is known as Festival City.

In this little town we have access to Brian Head Ski Resort where we can ski in the winter time. People also travel to see the Shakespearian plays near the college and to visit Zions National Park.

Cedar City is a very peaceful place to live. :)

Nothing special in my city. We only have Mall of Asia, the biggest mall in Asia as they claim, some heavy traffic especially during Friday. We have Amusement park called Star City and we have Philippine International Convention of the Philippines and Cultural Center of the Philippines besides it.

Malaysia is known for its Nasi Lemak ( Coconut milk rice), Nasi Goreng ( Fried Rice), Satay ( Chicken kebabs), mee goreng ( fried noodles) and many more. However most of them are high in cholesterol and fatty. Better to drink more water or green tea

I live in a small town in south west england and every year we have a Folk Festival in the town centre and adjoining park. It's held in the month of May and the whole town and surrounding areas turn out for music, dancing and little stalls where people sell things. It's been a feature for many years but the one thing that seems to happen is that it always pours with rain! It doesn't stop people attending though. :D
