For me it has to be something I'm really interested in. I love reading money making articles or animal related blogs but you can't always believe what you read. I just like to read the opinions of others and maybe gain something useful from them.

I stand by my opinion that it really needs to stand out from other similar blogs. Nearly every topic imaginable has been covered by now and has competition. There needs to be *something* unique or especially good about a blog to make you choose it over the other similar ones.

Generally i do not read blogs but once i happen to read a blog accidentally as i was getting bored in the train journey . It was all about home made medicines and medicinal plants related. Really i enjoyed it and saved it too. It was quite useful and informative

Blogs with good featured photos always catched my interest. Then the topic should be interesting too and very informative. I read blogs which are very well written that I can learn something. It does not really matter how long the post is as long as it has sense.

Me personally it reaches many people all over the world. I do alot of affiliate jobs and it would be great for more access to others to see. Blogs are a powerful way of getting business or exposure. So i like reading them for business purposes

You mentioned you are to start Soccer Blog, but you want to know what makes to read blog. If i were you, you better ask what is our favorite sports so that you may have an idea whether soccer is most preferred by us to watch and even so to read in the blog.

The blog content has to be something that interest me, whether I'd like to know more and learn more from the blogger.

I used to read personal blogs and blogs about computing when I was still single and working full time as a programmer, because at that time those contents interest me most.

After becoming a mother, I read more blogs about parenting and children education. And now, more about Waldorf Education, as these are most concerns to me now.

I seldom read blogs about soccer, though I was Arsenal fans. I just visited Arsenal website and other sports websites to read more news about Arsenal and English Premier League, but not so much from blogs.
