Humanitarian Crisis Deepens with Sudan Mass Killings

Postby ptrikha21 » 02 Nov 2025, 15:57

The world's largest displacement crisis in Sudan has escalated with reports of mass killings and atrocities in and around El Fasher, following the city's capture by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Satellite imagery and survivor accounts suggest ongoing systematic killings and possible ethnic cleansing against non-Arab communities. The fall of the city, the last stronghold in Darfur, has prompted fears of a humanitarian catastrophe, with tens of thousands fleeing amid summary executions, sexual violence, and attacks on aid workers.
The international community is struggling to provide safe passage and assistance.

And it's not getting a lot of attention from the news because the news is way more busy to talk about the crimes happening in Gaza and Ukraine.

This is not talked about much. I am not sure what UN can do but Big powers somehow need to step in.

Well, that is so sad. Media focuses on just a few things.
Well, at least this came in the newspaper that I read.

Sudan is split into 2 countries in hopes it will be more peaceful. People from South Sudan(separate country now) got their peace but not the main Sudan.

The world at large and major powers seem oblivious to what is happening in Sudan.

The current situation in Sudan is heart-breaking. People are suffering and the world is just silent as if nothing is happening. El Fasher has turned into a literal hell, people are running away without even knowing where they are going. This RSF war has gone too far now. The world needs to take action quickly and not just sit around giving sweet words while people are disappearing every day.

Unfortunately, that is true; the press doesn't seem to care about the horror that is happening in Sudan, maybe because the country is not a rich one or because the news doesn't get them viewers, but this horror must be denounced, and those people urgently need help.

It is true that the media often ignores the suffering that is happening in Sudan, perhaps because the country does not have much money or does not get viewers, but the situation is very bad and people are suffering badly. This horror should be spoken out clearly and strongly condemned. The people of Sudan need urgent help and international support because their lives are in danger and the world should not remain silent while such great suffering continues without any help.

Global media seems to be focused on areas where things "matter more" globally.
Or may be Media people fear going there?
Yet overall it is not good.
