I'm starting this thread because celebs are leaving us and for some of them, it's not a surprise but for others it's totally unexpected.

This one is not a surprise.

Today, Robert Redford passed away.

One movie I liked the soundtrack.
The other movie I liked the soundtrack and the scenery.

Sad news, may he rest in peace. He was a truly great actor. Obviously, I don't know, but he came across as a really nice guy. I remember him most from The Horse Whisperer.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Diane Keaton. The last time I saw her on screen was in the 2019 comedy Poms, where she portrayed Martha, a woman who moves into a retirement community and forms a cheerleading squad with her fellow residents. It's a heartwarming and uplifting film that showcases the power of friendship and pursuing one's dreams at any age. Her character on that movie also died. Who would have thought that few years later she will die for real?





She don't have biological children, but she adopted a son and a daughter when she was younger.

Scary and alarming? Not really. Most of the celebrities - in America - had lived into their 70s and beyond. Thi year in't any different from previous years.

Some deaths were a surprise.
Malcom Jamal Warner (50s). He went on vacation and drowned. He died saving his daughter.
The singer D'angelo (50s) died from pancreatic cancer.

Many deaths were unexpected because the people were young.

It is true and a great sadness for film lovers. Diane Keaton, the famous American actress who shone in films such as Father of the Bride and Annie Hall, has died at the age of 79. She died on October 11, 2025 from pneumonia.

Keaton was one of the biggest stars of the New Hollywood era and was known for her unique style of dress and high-profile acting. She worked with Woody Allen on many occasions and they collaborated on eight different films, including Manhattan and Sleeper

So many people suffer in silence. I had no idea he had cancer.
I'm sure all the sisters would agree, he looked healthy.
But then … I hadn't seen him in a while.

That movie Three Days of the Condor is a banger. It shows the secrets of espionage in real life. Everyone should see it, especially those in the CIA. Things are going wrong in the household. The presidency and its brutality are clearly visible. Robert Redford played his role well. The real life of politicians is visible. I loved it with all my heart. I hate the brutalities of government.

Not only was Robert Redford really good, but Max Von Syndow (1929 – 2020), who played the contract killer? His performance was off the charts! That scene in the movie where he told Robert Redford what to look for if someone was coming to kill him … that was memorable!
