We are always struggling to receive new topics for all to discuss. The New Posts link rarely displays even 200 topics to work on, even when we receive more than 200 new topics during the month. Older topics expire just 7 days after the latest contributions and we drop back down to well under 200 topics by the end of the month.

Several members have been posting a few topics each month
and a few have topped 25 new topics in a single month.
Let's make that a standard for all to strive for.

Challenge to all members:
Post at least 25 high quality new topics during the month of May
to receive a 25 FC Award.

May and June are now completed and awards have been paid.

I am up for the challenge. Apart from Saturdays and Sundays, I might come in some other days as well.
However, since it is not official and since my (and perhaps your) suggestion for a daily cut off of 10 posts was not accepted, so at times, my post count could be beyond 10.
Anyways, let us hope that more people take part.

We have only had 35 new topics added in the first 9 days of May
That is only averaging 3.8 topics per day
Only 13 members have even bothered to add new topics this month
and only one of them is even close to reaching 25 topics for the month at this rate.
We started the month with just 187 topics listed under the New Post link
As of this moment, we are down to just 158 topics as older topics have expired from the list.

Well, here we are, halfway through the month. We have only received 56 new topics for May as of this moment. Only 17 members have contributed new topics as of today. No one is near the 25 new topics for the month to receive any award. You only have 15 days before this challenge comes to an end for the month.

Members have been reviving more old topics lately. The new posts link currently displays 161 topics.

A grand total of just 17 members have managed to cough up just 78 new topics for the month of May to the end of May 23.
That leaves just from Saturday May 14 to Saturday May 31 for any single member to reach the 25 new topics for the month to earn the 25 FC Award.

The New Posts link has been hovering around 135 to 145 topics on display for most of the past week. We still need a lot more new topics every day to bring the display back to the 200 count.

Well here we are two weeks into July. We have received a grand total of just 49 new topics for an average of just 3.5 topics per day. 15 members have contributed new topics in July but no one is even close to earning the 25 FC bonus for contributing 25 topics during the month. In the meantime, the topics displayed in the New Posts link have fallen to just 148 topics as of this moment. We had 175 topics displayed on July 1, so (175+49-148=76) 76 older topics have expired from the New Post link at the same time.

(76/14=5.4; 5.4+3.5=8.93) We actually need an average of 9 new topics every day just to keep even.
Part of the gap has been filled in by members dragging old topics back but even that is not enough to maintain topics displayed under the New Posts Display.

Don't forget the growing list of all new topics provided from December to June.

We all need new topics. If you like to post content on ForumCoin,
you should feel obligated to also contribute new topics every day
as part of your site participation.

If you provide at least 25 new topics during the month
you also earn the 25 FC Bonus.
That means providing 25 new topics during the month
pays 3 times what you can earn by posting replies.
