I'm bummed out. There are some Korean movies I want to watch but they are only for rent. I already pay the monthly subscription. I refuse to pay extra and rent the movie too!

It was a 2012 Korean movie called "26 years". I like watching old movies whether American or foreign.

This film was deep. A significant historical event in South Korea was the Gwangju Uprising where the military literally killed unarmed citizens who were protesting in favor of democracy. 26 years later, kids who are now adults still suffer from either seeing their parents killed or badly injured. The pain still lingers. What hurts the most is that the politician who ordered this slaughter is still living large, refuses to repent or apologize, and has a security team that protects him around the clock. They want him punished. They plan a mission but ... do they succeed?

I rarely watch movies, except for when at my friend's place. 2 weekends ago, I was there and watched "Santa Fake"! So funny! ;) ;)

A working man - new movie with Jason Statham in main role. I would say it was very similar to Beekeeper so there is not much in movie - action and happy end.

Last Breath - lower budget movie with Woody Harelson as biggest star but not in main role. Movie is based on true story about deep water divers who fixed machinery and try save colleague diver. Average grade is 8.4/10 and it deserve.

Cloud Atlas, 2012.
Everything in the world is connected: a diary of a Pacific voyage in 1849; letters from a composer to his friend; a thriller about a murder at a nuclear plant; a farce about a publisher in a nursing home; a wild clone in futuristic Korea; and the story of a tribe inhabiting post-apocalyptic Hawaii, far in the future.
