Pesky Dandruff? No problem! Skip the dandruff shampoo and keep your flaking in check with aspirin. Yes, plain old Aspirin! The common drug contains the same active ingredients (salicylic acid) as many medicated dandruff shampoos.

To make your own dandruff shampoo: Add 1 tablespoon of crushed aspirin to your regular shampoo, suds up, and leave in for up to 5-10 minutes before rinsing. Dandruff gone!

Taking it as tablets is different from crushing it and applying it to your scalp.

Yet I am not sure if I would give it a try myself.
May be if someday we get an Aspirin included Shampoo, I can give a try!
