Religious Church Channels

Postby Spontaneo » 13 Jan 2025, 21:29

Last week, I got a new television for my bedroom office. I could not wait to watch religious television stations.

The only church (religious) station that I can find is TBN. My television did not come with a channel manual. All I can find are movies and 18 different news channels! I do not want the news! I do not want movies!

Do you know the names of any religious channels that I can attempt to search for?

Yes it is, I grew up watching the 700 club once in awhile. It was really fun back then though, I don't know much about now.

Sorry friends, I don't actually watch those channels but some of them are so well-known and popular around the world it's hard to not know of them. I know there's T.D Zakes and then I came to know about Kenneth Copeland through a Louis Theroux documentary. Is it just me or has Kenneth Copeland had a lot of work on his face?? Anyway, on the documentary, I was floored when he said he absolutely HAD to have a private jet because otherwise he wouldn't be able to do all the work he does. And also, he said he LOVED being wealthy. Like, ok...!

This evening, I have improved on finding stations. I have the option for your 3 suggestions, but need a subscription of which I do not know how to do or afford.

I was so excited as I found a Joyce Meyer Ministries channel, but I need a subscription also.

Tonight, I was able to watch Joyce Meyer for an half hour on TBN.

I am able to get a Joel Olsteen channel, but I really do not like his preaching. How about you?

A few of my acquaintances attend a local community church. Although I was raised a Roman Catholic, I am looking to find a different church. One of my requirements, like I have probably told you over and over, is praying to the blessed Virgin Mary. The community church does not pray to her.

Should I attend a sermon to find out if I like the community church? Should I keep looking elsewhere?

You can get a free trial of pureflix for a month, as long as you cancel at the end of the month before they start charging you.

Thank you but I am satisfied with TBN. There are so many nice shows! However, I can't watch as much television as I would like. I would never get anything accomplished! I allow myself to watch a Joyce Meyer Ministry sermon maybe twice a day.

I am very disappointed. Joyce Meyer is not on regularly like she had been. Yes, she has her own channel, but I cannot afford a subscription.

I have a solution, though! I can catch her sermons whenever I want on her website! I have blonde moments and forget!

;) ;)

CBN? Is TBN and CBN the same?
Isn't Hallmark religious?

What kind of antenna are you using?

I was using rabbit ears. ( My late husband ghetto-rigged our TV because he didn't want to pay for a digital box.)

I finally bought a digital antenna from Amazon.

The rabbit ears only pulled in about 25 channels.
The new antenna pulled in almost 60 more channels, along with the 25 antenna local channels.

You have thoroughly confused myself. No worries though. If all else fails, I have a laptop.

LOL. Sorry about the antenna.

I've also heard about Dove.

I don't know if the channels I'm suggesting are free, though.
