And after that, the refugees tried to implant fanatical Islam to the Muslim residents of Lebanon. And because they make more babies, they out-populated the Christians, and they tried to harass them to leave the country. It was many years ago that I saw an article about certain countries trying to tackle the problem of Islamic extremists. I guess some of them came up with solutions These sound like drastic measures. But then again, I don't live there. Maybe there were alternative even more drastic solutions, but they settled on these.

I'm not trying to be insulting but I think the hijab – with head covering and veil - is not good for national security. I mean if they robbed a bank, nobody could identify them. You can't even tell if it's a man or a woman.

Oh, the irony!
There are lots of people who said they were raised Christian but as an adult they switched to Buddhism because it is a religion of meditation and peace. They point to the Crusades and fighting between Catholics and Protestants, etc. I can see how you could sell somebody on the idea of Buddhists being peaceful since they're not going around blowing up themselves and other people. But I don't quite get how they can be persuaded that Islam is peaceful. From the Battle of Badr forward, Islam has been about military and political victories, in this life, not in the next.

Although Muslims say that Divine intervention is always involved in what they do. Yaser Arafat said God told him to do what he did. I'm sure he's not the only one who said God told them to do what they did or do. By contrast, Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, did not instruct his disciples to start wars. Neither did Jesus Christ. But others started wars in His name anyway!

I remember the Tunisian president coming under fire for saying he didn't want refugees from sub-Saharan Africa flooding his country because they are trying to change the idendity of his people. Very offensive but knowing what I know now about what happened in Lebanon, I guess that's exactly what he was on about!

WOW! That sure is a quick history lesson.
The Bible has similar stories where invaders attacked peaceful people. I believe the stories but I find it unbelievable how people return the kindness shown to them by inflicting grief and misery on the people who did not harm them.

I can't help but think that when they went in or were allowed in, they knew the people would be kindhearted, and that didn't matter. They meant to do evil and planned to invade and overthrow them right from the start. In the back of their minds, they must have thought: SUCKERS! WE CAME TO TAKE OVER!

You want to be charitable but … you can't help thinking: If several Muslim-majority countries won't even take in Muslim refugees, why should the non-Muslim countries take them in? FAITH is supposed to trump government, politics, economics, etc. These are people of your faith, why can't you take care of them? Won't the Divine Leader reward your good work? You get 10 virgins for being a martyr. Don't you get something for practicing charity?
