Trump is probably not wrong. I learned this living in Miami. Many illegals go to Canada FIRST and then they cross over into America after they have stayed in Canada for a while. This has been going on for years (long before Trump) and it's not just people coming from Mexico or South America. They're from everywhere!

The people who came across via Canada, albeit they still entered illegally, say they can pretty much walk across the Canadian border because the USA has such good relations with Canada that most of the time they don't rigorously check the people crossing over into the USA from Canada.

Even so, it's NOT nearly as many people as the “caravans” coming across the Mexican border.

Trump's FOCUS should be the ones coming in across the Mexican border. Canada is not really the problem.

Also, I thought Trump when he was POTUS last time made a deal with the Mexican president at that time to keep certain people IN Mexico who were applying for asylum or whatever, until US Immigration processed their papers.

NOTE: During Trump's presidency known as the "Migrant Protection Protocols" (MPP), or "Remain in Mexico" policy.

Don't ask me what happened? (O.o)

Anyway! His “new fix” is MASS DEPORTATIONS! (He's very good at appealing to "racist fever".)

Uh huh. Let's see where that goes.

(Isn't it funny how I can remember stuff that the politicians conveniently FORGET?)

Netherrealmer wrote:He also said he wants to Annex Canada and Greenland... Its may be a joke but it pisses off Canadians,Inuits and dutch.

I don't think he's joking. He's THINKING. (Which for him and for US is very dangerous! I'm joking but I'm serious.)

There was a wall that was partially built.
(It looks a mess! A real eye sore. Even if it were finished, I don't know how many people it would have prevented from entering the US. To me, it looks like it would be easy to slip through. Besides, people have always bribed The Gatekeeper. LOL. Not kidding. I used to work for US Customs and I remember a few of our Customs inspectors getting fired because they took bribes to let people in illegally. Sadly, I also remember some of them getting killed in the line of duty.)

One of Trump's cronies went to prison because he siphoned off some of the money to buy a yacht and other “creature comforts”. (There could be more but he's the one WHO GOT CAUGHT!)

There's some sort of law that allows the government to get rid of “unused surplus” STUFF. Since the construction was not completed but there was leftover materials for the building of the wall, the government had an auction. From what I heard it was 5 cents on the dollar. Some folks were upset, but hey! … IT'S THE LAW.

But this is the most ridiculous part. Trump said Mexico was going to pay for The Wall. That didn't happen ... "technically". According to Trump: Mexico did not directly pay for the border wall. Former President Donald Trump initially claimed that Mexico would pay for the wall, but later clarified that Mexico would pay "indirectly" through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade deal. But there is no specific provision in the USMCA that required Mexico to fund the wall. The idea was that economic benefits from the trade deal would indirectly cover the costs, but this claim is widely disputed.

(Yeah. Uh huh. And if you believe that, you believe the Pope is Muslim and the 9/11 attacks were planned from the Vatican! And the Vatican Library has the secret documents! )

That's all I know about what happened.

Anyway! I'm looking forward to 2025 when Puppet POTUS Trump will be out front spewing garbage out his mouth, while Shadow POTUS Musk operates from behind the scenes CAUSING ALL KINDS OF CHAOS AND MAYHEM!

Eh! We the People Will Survive!

They can always adapt like the Chinese. Put peppers on the menu: 1 pepper, 2 Peppers, 3 peppers. Running a successful business is all about adapting to your customers. If you have foreigners coming to your country, especially to live, you have to adapt to survive.

Well, Americans and Mexicans have different taste when it comes to tacos. For example, Mexicans prefer soft shell. Americans prefer crispy shell. Americans prefer ground meat. Mexicans prefer... either... Pressure-cooked beef or offal meat. Like... Tongue... Lungs, and heart. Most Americans are very icky when it comes to... offal meats, but Mexicans love them. Also, Mexicans prefer lime on their tacos. Americans prefer cheese

I'm in Texas. We have Tex-Mex cuisine. Not quite Texas. Not quite Mexican. We've adapted.

Mexico has a new president. Like all of the candidates, she has made promises to get votes. But I don't think she has done anything noteworthy. So far she got upset with Trump about tariffs and renaming the Gulf of Mexico. If she can't get rid of the cartel, life in Mexico will continue to be awful for its citizens. But not for the rich citizens or the foreigners who come to live there, of course.

Ah yes! “gentrification”
Such a nice word for stealing people's property by pricing them out of their homes.

Happens in America all the time, especially in predominantly black neighborhoods. I'm surprised they haven't used that word to push the Native Americans off the reservations they pushed them onto.

Probably a lot of Americans are moving to other countries. They won't say it out loud, but I'm sure they're running away from Trump. People may not click Like for my posts on X. But if they read them; they know I'm telling the truth!

Latest news report says Mexico won't allow the US military planes to land. The planes that are carrying the deported illegals.

Trump didn't get an agreement and work out the logistics straightened out first?
He's the president of America, but that doesn't mean other countries must treat him like they're their president too!

Think about this. You just said something to piss off the leader of another country. And now you want that leader to just allow your military planes to BARGE IN AND DUMP A BUNCH OF PEOPLE OFF??!?!
