Do You Have A Daily Saving Goal or Monthly?

Postby JASPREET » 12 Dec 2024, 09:11

I feel we all should have a saving goal and should stay disciplined about it because this can help us stay focused, and disciplined, and the feeling of being financially secure is hard to explain.

I am now working at a monthly saving goal and targeting $50.

People that earn monthly always have monthly saving goals. That's what I have too.

Rather than just putting funds in a savings account, I have been making regular investments throughout 2024. Seems to be working pretty well since I averaged about $75 a month for the year in added profits; way above the typical interest earnings from a savings plan of less than $1 per month on the same dollar amount. Look for places to invest that meet your accepted risk tolerance to make it worth the effort. Other than the rare turkey in the mix, it will almost always top whatever you can gain through a typical savings plan.

I agree, we need to invest and for that we can also go for a systematic investment plan more popularly known as SIP

Having a saving goal, whether it's daily, weekly, or monthly, is important for our financial stability and peace of mind.

Setting goals and targets for saving money is important. However, I agree, it's also important to not put too much pressure on oneself.

Mostly silver and gold. I ran across a recent report on silver holdings that compared how much you had to have to be included in the top 20%, 10%, 5% and 1% of investors world wide. You enter the top 20% level with just 100 one ounce rounds. 80% of investors simply never get that high. Every time I made a purchase, they had increased in value between $1 and $3 from the time I ordered them to the time I received them and have just been going up ever since. I was stunned to learn I am already well past the minimum thresh hold to be included in the top 1% group for silver. Guess I have been buying more than I realized. No wonder my returns are getting so high. Every time they go up or down a buck, I make or lose hundreds of dollars. It has all been up since I began.

I've sort of been thinking of laying them all out like dominoes and giving the first a tip to watch them all spin over. Should make a fun video if I can figure out how to do it. :D

Starting on January 1st gives you a fresh start, and it’ll be challenging yourself to see how far you can go with it.

I have been saving small amount from the time that I discovered about online banking. With one Dollar or Two, I could already deposit it using the app. So I don't need to go to the bank. I am using the money I save as an emergency fund. When my savings reached a certain threshold, I would transfer a part of it to my Special Savings account. This practice helped me a lot.

It's great to save money and no issues if you have a daily target because we need to see what works for us.
