I was just reminiscing about having fun pranking some frequent customers.
Just as an example, I worked at a donut shop for a couple of years. My main job was to come in very early, load up a truck with fresh donuts to deliver to the cafeterias at local factories and a few stores and then work the rest of the day in the back of the store. It was a casual atmosphere with a lot of regular customers.
There was one guy who always liked the crushed apple filled donuts, but he always complained there was not enough filling. They were filled by a machine that always put the same amount in every donut but he always managed to make a complaint.
One time I put the donut on the filling machine, but instead of pushing the fill button once, I kept it in place and filled it three times. It was bulging and noticeably heavy. I made sure he got it when he came in.
His eyes lit up and he was excited to find it so heavy. He bit into it to enjoy but the thing burst wide open and the filling was out and all over him in seconds. The whole place was laughing as we watched him clean up the mess. He never complained again.
I've had similar fun at other jobs over the years.
Did you ever have fun pranking a regular customer?
