When a sports is highly loved by people of a particular country, it is always a good business prospect. Cricket would actually help someone make money from merchandise in India and South Africa.

Cricket is not popular in Africa. Only that South Africa plays cricket because they suck at soccer. Africa is a footballing continent.

Mostly I read in different articles as there are different channels those who are totally on cricket. Here this game is popular but not on that level, as to get the place of number one.

Cricket has a large following in India and would continue to boom for a very long time in India. It is a guarantee to work out if you invest in it.

So many people have become millionaires in India by investing in cricket, no doubt about that. Even brands in India get better exposure from cricket tournaments.

Cricket has become a launchpad for aspiring athletes, offering lucrative contracts, endorsement deals, and opportunities for fame and fortune. The rise of cricketing superstars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has not only elevated the profile of the sport but also created lucrative revenue streams through brand endorsements and media appearances.

India definitely has a huge market for cricket, but it's nice to know that other countries are also embracing the sport. It just goes to show how universal and beloved cricket truly is.

Yes, one can see past players like Aakash Chopra and earlier Navjot Singh Sidhu or Ravi Shastri who have been doing quite good as commentators.
And a few more like Irfan Pathan.

By the way, IPL 2024 is all the rage these days.

Yes IPL gave idea to most of these other leagues.
However, I feel that IPL has too many matches and is very long now.

IPL has less matches because now they are playing with a different way as earlier every team used to play each other twice but this is not the case. They should go for two matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and even on days when there is a public holiday to keep it shorter
