In Texas, I think the government gives homeowners some kind of monetary incentive if they use solar products.

I went to a compound that has a solar water pump. One can imagine the amount if money they save on buying fuel to pump water everyday.

We have just installed photovoltaic panels for energy production, we are now going to submit all the documentation to ask for government support, and we expect to receive more than half of our investment.

I don't understand how this works. A central agency is supplying a whole neighborhood solar powered energy? That isn't possible yet as it would take millions of dollars to do that.

This is a very nice plan but the cost is very high because of the kind of home equipment you want to power with it, you can start saving for this till you meet your target.

I used solar panels in my last house but here in apartment it is very difficult to manage it. I used it successfully in my shop where plenty of sun rays striking with my panels.

Solar or Wind powered products can be very good for use at home.
One however, needs to check which are the reliable brands that are available for use.
I have not checked what good brands are available for use whether online or offline.

So do shops using Solar Power in your place get any Tax rebates?
What are the maintenance charges?
Interestingly, I can see that you have mentioned your locality in a great detail 8-)

That is marvelous!
I hope that we too could start doing so one day.
We have more of logistical issues due to High density population and Apartment Buildings.

Are there wind powered household products? What kind of things?

I have a solar torch (flashlight) for when I go camping. I am lucky to have solar panels on my house. The electricity is fed back into the grid and I pay only a small amount, or sometimes nothing at all, for electricity each quarter.

My friend has solar in his house and we get to charge our devices free of charge. I know how much people spend on charging everyday because my country is yet to have stable electricity.

I have a solar torch (flashlight) .... quarter.

Solar panels to generate house electricity and sharing some back with the Grid is something that was started in India as well.
It is yet to reach a critical mass, but could be something that could be elaborated and expanded further in the future.
