You didn't say which side of the experience you were asking about.

I have a neighbor/friend who moved away. He had prepaid for a week long vacation that could not be refunded and the move was delayed to the weekend he was scheduled to leave. He ended up starting his vacation before the move was completed. That was last weekend.

I helped a few other friends to complete the move, including loading up all the rest of his stuff, taking it to his new home and moving it all in. He had left his car in the driveway, planning to pick it up a week later on his return. That was today.

Just so happened he was parked under some evergreen trees that dripped sap the entire week. I spent about an hour and a half before his scheduled return to wash all the sap off his car windows so he would be able to see on his way to his new home.

Turned out the battery also died during the idle week, so I was able to jump start his car to get him rolling. I enjoyed giving him the going away gift. Even though he was not a stranger, this is still an example of "angel duty". I still get the same enjoyment.

You were definitely an angek on duty! Very thoughtful! Awesome!

A couple of days ago, a neighbor brought over day-old baked goods!

The baked goods covered our entire kitchen table!

She is a blessing. ;)

Then, my roommate now calls me "auntie" when talking about me to her cat. My roommate is always at work, leaving her cat with me! I told her that I am going to start charging her money! So, I guess I am some kind-of something on duty! ;)

Today, while at the cafe, I gave a cup of coffee to a stranger. I overheard him say that he wanted a drink but that he had no money.

That's really awesome though, so far today I have not come across anyone, though someone promised to buy me cakes whenever they come to my area, cake is one thing I love alot. So I guess that's an act of kindness.

I am starting a new lifestyle.

Well, you know how I am on the skinny squad for Jordan's Skinny Syrup? I was sent 6 bottles of syrup and a pump for free. A $70.00 total for free.

Then, I have started to drink 2 meal replacements each day.

Next, 3 mini-meals and then a good, moderate meal.

As for my moderate meals, I have thought about consuming chicken salad sandwiches for a while. I recently had some tuna and tasted nasty.

I chopped up carrots, celery and onion as I had some chicken salad sandwiches and tasty awesome a few days ago.

So, I am down to my last can of chicken breast. Today, a roommate went into the city to Sam's Club. Guess what she picked up? She picked up everything that I need for my new lifestyle except for the canned chicken breast and the bread or the tortilla wraps! She had no clue about what I needed to buy!

Which brings me to this question, I love Italian bread but tortilla wraps are cheaper. Canned chicken breast is close by at the dollar store and so are tortilla wraps. The vegetables are chopped. Chicken Salad Wraps? Yes?

I have really been blessed.

Whar is a small gesture of appreciation that I can do for her?

Thank you!

A roommate drove me to the grocery store and dollar store this past Saturday even though she needed to get ready for her job.

The grocery store had produce on clearance for 99 cents.

A few months ago, a neighbor gave me a Keurig and some K-cups. For Christmas, her kids got her a new Keurig.

Well, my 4 year-old Toastmaster one-cup was still brewing away, so I kept the Keurig for a rainy day.

Guess what? My Toastmaster stopped brewing yesterday. That "new" Keurig came in handy!

The funny thing is, for Christmas, Santa Claus brought me a big huge box of K-cups! Saved for a rainy day!

Today?

I went shopping for a roommate''s birthday present. Right before leaving, I spotted a water bottle that I really, really liked. A friend just happens to work there. She gave me the water bottle for free and didn't charge me tax on the birthday present!

The birthday present is exactly what my roommate was wanting too! She wants a huge pink purse, kind-of like a backback. I bought her a big huge pink satchel bag!

A guy helped me to carry a 20 litres of honey I was taking home today. Stuff was really heavy and I was wobbling and falling. But the good Samaritan turned up and helped.

Wow that is a huge amount of honey. Here in Ireland, honey is not usually sold in larger quantities than 500g jars. Is it normal to have so much honey where you are?

A beautiful lady paid for my lunch today. Didn't do anything for her. She just offered to pay for me because I just struck a conversation with her in the restaurant.

Yesterday, my landlord allowed me to borrow a laptop from him! With the possibility of buying!

Today, a good friend brought boxes and boxes of potato chips, party mix, popcorn, tortilla chips, etc. Oh boy... I think that she forgot about my new lifestyle!

A big church donated food to some friends of we roommates. Our friends did not even want the food and gave the food to we roommates! A gigantic bowl of salad and 13 chicken breasts! So, we had some chicken salad after appointments today!

What was so funny is that a roommate and I had been talking about how expensive food is when you want to be healthy! My Slim Fast is astronomical for a small canister!

Then, I, myself, am doing a good deed for tomorrow. I am donating prizes for bingo. I am not going tomorrow but a roommate is dropping the prizes off. Everything from deodorant, hair spray, sparkling water, coffee creamer, etc. Am I doing good?

That's a really big act of kindness, I must say. People don't donate food to people in my location.

I went to bingo yesterday! The bingo caller asked me if I had any more bingo prizes to donate! ;)

I won a bag of cheese curls, a bag of jalapeno ranch tortilla chips and a bag of nacho chips! I kind-of would like to pay the prizes that I won forward and give to my church.

I have been in a funk lately. So, I chose to do something good to someone else to get me out of this funk.

Yesterday, I donated treats to my church's food box.

Then, today, I gave groceries to a friend.
