I appreciate you laying out the PROs and CONs. I don't know how I got this screwed up in my head but I thought that Vocal.Media did not allow Amazon affiliate links nor did they allow you to reuse old content. Thanks for clarifying.

I am revisiting my writer's profile on Vocal.Media. A fellow writer on Medium showed me how to republish my Medium.com content.

As for the affiliate links, its my understanding that if it's a product review you can shae the affiliate link at the end of the article. Do you know of another way to shre affiliate links? I mean withour writing product reviews.

I will go with hubpages maybe because I'm on it and I understand it better. The best bet of making good on this site is to post good content and then try to drive traffic to your post. The more views the more money

So, hubpages pays for views? Generally speaking, how much they pay for 1000 views. After reading a lot of posts about various writing sites I am kind of fascinated to join a site good paying writing site. I might check hubpages.

I'm not sure HOW they do it. I do know that out of all of the revenue-sharing platforms, HUBPages is the best! It used to be that you had to have an approved Google Ad Sense account. But the new HP owners did something and changed the platform so that now any writer gets a share of their Ad Sense revenues. So if you have tried but you were never approved for Ad Sense, no worries. You'll still earn through the revenue-sharing program.

The main thing with HubPages is to get your content Featured. I don't know HOW they do that either. But if HP features your content that means the search engines can find it. If it's not featured, it's not visible to the search engines. But just go ahead and share the link yourself. The main thing is to get viewers to your article so that you can earn. If you have to shameless self-promo, DO IT!!

One more point. DO NOT republish your content elsewhere on the web. Nobody will say this out loud, but it will definitely decrease your earnings. I learned this the hard way. Keep your content HP content ON HP!!!

Another cool thing? HP editors will help you improve your content so that it is SEO-friendly. This service is free of charge. Just ask for it.

I missed the boat when it came to being a gamer. But from what I understand enthusiastic gamers earn money writing articles and uploading videos, and have fun playing the games. Lucky. Lucky. Lucky.

Yes, they certainly do allow you to repost articles that you have posted elsewhere, but you need to prove ownership of your article. I do not know what procedure you need to follow to claim ownership of your article, since I haven't yet submit any repost.

I gave it a try. Submitted my article and it was approved within the hour. I thought I was going to have to wait for a day or two. Since my other articles were food-related, I decided to stick with that topic.

It was an old article from Medium.com. So now that I know they like my content, I will republish more articles there. I do hope the content generates income.

I think you need to publish a lot of content and work on your content consistently to bring traffic in order to earn. These days people do not have that kind of passion, they are more willing to work for small price if the payment is upfront.

Yeah. Since the articles are about 2 years old, I'm probably going to take my Read.Cash content, revise it, and republish via Vocal.Media. At least they pay for external views. If I get tips too, that will be gravy!

I'm still making money with HUBPages but not as much as I used to. The new owners relly changed things up quite a bit.

I fully decided. I am going to try all three platforms: HubPages, Vocal.Media, and Medium for article writing; and stick with Blogspot for monetizing my blog posts. I don't think I'm going to look for any more writing platforms.

Definitely hubpages, i had been writing for 9 or 20 years but stopped after i found a full time job. Yes, it will pay thru paypal when reached $50 but slow in earning. Just be patient

If you cannot use PayPal, you cannot earn on Hubpages, if you cannot use Stripe, you cannot get paid by Vocal or even Medium. These sites are certainly great sites but they have limitations for people in the developing world.
