I was just suggesting that if situations could get back to normal there is no harm in trying. And you are right. So many sites close down but new ones show up.

* * I haven't given up on the site. Most of my content is republished from my blogs or other places where I published. So even if the site goes down, it's not like I'd lose anything.

The main goal of the site was to allow republished content so that bloggers and writers might be able to redirect traffic to their own sites. When I read other people's content and they provide a link back to their site, sometimes I click to visit the site. But I wonder how many other people do that? Because if the visitors don't get a little curious about the blogger's site, then not only is the site not paying, but it's also not really achieving its primary goal of helping the bloggers reach a larger audience. That's really why the site was set up. It was sort of like YAHOO Voices. But YAHOO Voices didn't last either.

So when Niume announced their discontinuation of the revenue system, at least they didn't bite da dust! YAHOO Voices said "Sayonara!" and closed its doors. It was a disappointment, because YAHOO actually paid me.

I wasn't earning at Niume. But I was hoping to get some traffic to my websites and blogs by republishing there. Because Niume doesn't have my ads and affiliate links that can earn income for me. But my sites do! So I really want to get people over there! You know what I mean??

* * Yes. Only a few pieces at Niume are my original content only published at Niume. The rest are republished content and usually at the end of the post you write a statement like: "This content first appeared at *My Blog" (include the title and link to the specific post)." I have only 16 posts at Niume. I started in January at the beginning of this year (2017). I'm taking my time deciding: Should I stay or should I go? I wasn't in a hurry to join. I'm not in a hurry to leave. The site might have "a value" that just hasn't made itself immediately visible and it's not in the form of a "Pay Per View" plan.
