Re: Have You Ever Used Google Chrome for Crypto Mining?

There are some small sites and apps that promote mining through your browser. I have played with them in the past. Currently my security is set very high and it will not allow me to use those sites. There are better ways to earn.

I avoid using mining through browser. The reason being browser becomes unstable. And next reboot or after it can be pretty bad in many ways.

I have noticed the same thing. Now, cloud mining is interesting because its a platform that you don't have to have running in the background. At least the one I am in you just make sure you logged in and it keeps going and going. Log in once in a while to check on it and let it go and go. As far as CryptoTab and others that run in the background, unless you want to run your virus scanner every day, I wouldn't do it.

I think that cloud mining is more like investment and not mining. It's more like HYIP for cryptos. I have tried mining in a chrome browser before but again, it depends on your CPU power and graphics card if they have that option as well.

I have never used any mining sites and since many people say that it can slow ad damage our system, I am better away from it.

Nope, because the risk of damaging my PC is too high/not worth it. I've considered cloud mining before though but changed my mind about that too.

My devices act up when it comes to mining anything so I have stopped such task. I just need money to buy a strong fairly used laptop that I can use for mining alone.

Using laptop will still destroy or can damage when you mine with it. Crypto mining typically uses all of the resources like CPU goes always 100% and graphics card to heat up. The best way is the mining rig with desktop but again, I'm not sure the profitability of mining as of this moment because of the electricity cost.
