Re: can online work substitute your day job?

Postby Rational Mind » 15 Mar 2019, 23:54

My online work does not even make 10% of what I make offline. Even after working for a couple of years, my online income has not improved. The only difference is I am now earning from my own site as opposed to third party site.

Looks like rational mind is working out for you. If you keep at it. Then there are chances that you may reach the stage where you earn more long term.

I think it will pass more years till I can substitute my offline job with an online job. Supposedly if I will find some regular, good paying job online.

I think 800$ a month can pretty much replace the job of anyone in india for sustainable years ahead. Anything below that may not be a reasonable income at all.

Yes it is much but it is not easy to earn in India from online work.

There was a time when my online work contributed to my over all income substantially. However, these days I am earning very negligible.

It's oftentimes about the sites we are earning from. If we can only expect to have low potential earnings in a site then, we will not going to have more income than our offline work.

This is exactly what I've been saying. Some people have the expertise where they can comfortably make a living online. This type of knowledge needs grooming.

Freelance programmers, software developers are usually the ones who have more work opportunities/demands these days - at least that's how I look at it.

I stopped working on my former job the moment I started earning 800 dollars a month from Bibo and 600 dollars a month from Humanatic.
