When we get into this world we arrive empty hands. We do not know where destiny takes us and if we are placed in a position of status we feel that it is our right to be there and that we will stay there forever not realizing what future holds. One should be ready for any eventuality as most of it is not in our hands. This poem says it all
WATCH OUT
“The old order changeth yielding place to new”,
It could be so fast affecting me and you.
None of us are ready for facing such a plight.
We just talk about it and take it so light.
One at the top may suddenly come down,
In sadness and sorrow they will just drown
It’s not an easy task to simply forego,
What was one’s domain not so long ago
When all this happens some help to bear it all
Yet there are others that revel in their fall.
Not realizing, soon will be their turn
When life’s lesson will they ever learn.
Keeping eyes open to notice the change.
Those things that happen within one’s range.
Be equipped to cope and face it all.
It could be your turn to one day fall.
It could also be your turn to rise from below
You may have missed those happy signs that show
Take this gift for the hard work you have done
Enjoy it to the hilt and with others share the fun
The poem in a nut shell is all about the art of living. Keeping an eye on changes around though slow need to be watched for and one should get mentally prepared step by step. Getting shocks when one is unprepared can be the worst blow which might lead to mental issues.
The old order changeth yielding place to new is a famous line from the poem Morte De Arthur by Alfred Lord Tennyson

When one’s life is dependent on external factors it is folly to expect things will move smoothly and when they do not many succumb to mental pressure and take to drugs and drinks.
All what is needed is the realization that we need to take precarious steps that sometimes despite our best efforts lead to a fall and that fall can be handled if we are mentally ready to accept that things may not go well as we have planned Keeping alternatives ready – just in case – is one way to face failures.
