Some of those helped me a lot, like I’ve focused on drinking more water, especially lemon water every morning, and eating healthy foods and morning walks, which made me feel more energetic and improved my digestion. It really helped me feel good and balanced after the holidays..

Just last week, I created a team on myfitnesspal.com called The Water Challenge. Not one person has joined yet, but I am hopeful. I have simply just asked if the members would log in their daily 64-ounces at the end of the day.

The water can be whatever constitutes as water. I am not the water patrol!

Exercising helps the body detox faster. Exercise increases blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, making it cleaner. Digestion also improves and metabolism increases. All of this helps the body eliminate toxins without stress. As the Chinese proverb says, a moving body removes impurities, so activity is the body's medicine.

Moderate exercise is best. You can do brisk walking, yoga, swimming, or light jogging. These make the body sweat naturally without hurting yourself. If you plan 30 to 45 minutes every day, your body will be fresh and you will find balance.
