Did you guys know? Ants don’t have lungs. They instead breathe through spiracles, nine or ten tiny openings, depending on the species.

Yeah, that's true of most insects (though not quite all- from memory there was a discovery a couple of years back of a beetle that did have some some sort of proto-lungs). It's pretty cool. It's also why you can't have really giant insects- they wouldn't be able to breathe because that system doesn't work when it's scaled up.

When I found out, I was blown away! It might seem weird but I'm genuinely fascinated by ants and nature in general. Some of the things around us are just on another level of AMAZING!!!

It’s really fascinating to know that ants can’t fly but they can only walk then I begin to wonder how they go so high without flying then I realize how mighty God is
