Items That Bring Good Luck

Postby Spontaneo » 17 Jan 2025, 05:31

Is there an item that you have that brings you good luck?

For example, I have 2 robes that bring myself luck! I call the robes my "writing robes". 1 robe is pink and the other robe is green.

My other are my certain writing pens. My writing pens have to be from my landlord with his logo on the pens and need to be grey. I recently received blue pens from him that are not very full of luck.

My robes are in the dirty pile needing to be washed. I cannot find a grey pen. So, I have not been too productive.

I don't really believe that objects can bring you luck, but I do have some things that are comforting to have with me in certain circumstances. I have a little doll (it used to be a pencil topper) that I like to keep in my pocket when I'm going to be doing something stressful (like for job interviews). I like to be able to put my hand in my pocket and feel it there. It grounds me.

I like the idea of writing robes.

I remember when in school, we were told to have hankies for job interviews, in case our hands get sweaty.

I'm a little superstitious and used to have this cute pendant that I clung onto for good luck. Whether or not it worked I'm not sure LOL I gotta find it. I put it away when the chain broke and wanted to find a good replacement.

I hope that you find your charm!

That's good advice. Probably a good idea to have breath mints handy too, just in case.

I like cinnamon hard candy from the local dollar store.

IHOP flavored coffee K-cups bring myself luck on being productive. As I am a freelance writer, I don't know about you, but I rely on good coffee. Santa Claus brought myself alot of different K-cups and ground coffee that were not all IHOP so maybe I might even find another coffee that I like! Even espresso and Swiss Colony!

Various flavored hot cocoa also for my homemade iced mochas and mochas!

I am set!
