Are you funny? Are you creative? Can you work hard?

Have you ever thought of writing greeting card verse?

Give greeting cards a chance!

Years ago, when I did not have internet and a computer, I submitted greeting card verse via the Postal Mail to Oatmeal Studios.

I wrote and wrote and wrote but my greeting card verse was never selected. I kept being told to continue submitting.

I got tired.

Oatmeal Studios is totally legit. The line of greeting cards are even sold at a local grocery store.

Okay then if they are legit. you would try to ask them why your jobs were rejected then so that you work on them to do better

I work hard. I've been told I'm funny. But I'm definitely NOT creative. I'm also not very patient, so the fact that you submitted many and they all got rejected does not appeal to me at all. Do you reckon they say no but sometimes end up using them on the sly?

I am not creative. You do not have to submit professional drawings with your verse, but you are asked to describe in words what the greeting card could look like if you like. I think that that was my downfall.

I think that they are honest.

This report has put me off.
Perhaps Oatmeal accepts writeups from some specific geolocation.

I am sorry that you feel that way. They now except verse via e-mail these days, which is good.
