As per this news, India is now the Third largest tourist inflow market for Thailand.
The prime reason is the Visa Free Policy for Indian folks announced in November 2023, which has been getting extension and is now without any end date till now.
The record for 2024 is 2.1 Million which crossed the Little Less than 2 Million Pre pandemic mark.
Culturally Thailand has quite a good number of things that Indians can identify with.
Plus its beaches and sight seeing places are a big draw.

Well, we cannot rule that out. I have also heard that many couples go to Thailand for Sex Determination for the to-be-born baby as that is prenatal diagnosis of the sex of the baby is prohibited in India.
But how many actually do is unknown to me.
