‎A place you’d love to visit this year

Postby eldavis » 07 Jan 2025, 13:35

Am pretty sure there are so many places we would like to visit, but is there anyone in particular you would like to visit this year as part of your goal or new year resolution? What place would that be and why do you want to visit it?

I don't actually plan on doing much travel this year. However, there are some sights local to where I live that I would like to visit. For example, there is an old historical graveyard not far from my home that I would like to visit.

What about you eldavis, have you any plans yourself?

My dream would be to get married (I do not even have a boyfriend) and gather with all of my loved ones.

If I do not get married, I would atleast love to get together with my loved ones, period.

I'm going interstate next month, to Melbourne. It's a great city, with lots of really interesting things to see and do, and I haven't been there in many years so I'm looking forward to it.

Ok. Slightly confused since you quoted me- You know Melbourne is not in Zanzibar, right? It's in Australia.

I have wanted to visit our solar system by car right here in the US. There are cities all over the country that are named after the planets. I'd love to drive to Mercury (AZ), Venus (FL), Mars (PA) and many others and pick up a rock from each. I could then show those rocks and say "this one is from Mars", or "this one is from Mercury" etc. and even pass a lie detector test to show the statement was true. I'd even like to drive to Hell and back as part of my journey. They might have a souvenir form of fire in a globe or something. (Hell, Michigan)

Might be able to take that drive sometime this year.
