So I have been watching this Travel series by the channel :
"Explore the Unseen 2.0".
The host has bene on a journey from India to London in England.

In this video, he explores Riga in Latvia on entering through Estonia.
There are some nice views.
He travels by a rental Skoda Superb which gives a good mileage and has
automatic speed controlling system.

Image taken while watching the video.

Then my best wishes for you to acquire enough money & time to do so.
It is not much talked about in travel circuit but the sights are worth watching.

One of my students decided to go to Latvia just for the fun of it because it's so cheap - well, relative to the rest of Europe. She and her partner were very pleasantly surprised. She told me the country was gorgeous, the food was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Also, she said the people were welcoming.

I used to be active in a social blogging community, based in Estonia. But like most of those communities that promised to pay you for being active, it didn't pay. On the plus side, I learned the name of a country that I had never heard of. I think it was part of the USSR. It became independent like Ukraine and the others. Evidently, they are really good with technology. If Putin can get Ukraine, I think he's going after Estonia next. Just me thinking.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were part of the erstwhile USSR.
While one does gets to hear a bit about the Central Asian republics like Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc. due to their historical cities like Tashkent, Samarkand, Astana etc. and their place in the ancient silk route, we get to hear very less about the above 3 Northern countries.

So yes, it is pleasant to find about such places.

I have heard that Estonia is good at Tech startups and probably Crypto.
Ukraine is a bigger country and was seemingly a more immediate threat for Russia if it became a part of NATO.

I don't think that Estonia is that much of a threat..

But I think that Putin should have waited and acted in self defense if the need had arisen, instead of a mad and so destructive war
