Passive Earning Apps/Sites : My Two cents in favor and two against

Postby ptrikha21 » 28 Jul 2024, 14:32

Of late, Passive Earning Apps/Websites have gained traction. Althoigh not hotly discussed, there are many people who have been either using Passive means of earning through Apps or sites.
Let's discuss further.

Defining Passive Earning Apps/sites :

Ideally, if you have an App or a site where you just open a page/section, keep it running in the background, it can be classified as a Passive Earning App/site.
One example could be Honeygain.

Also, some Apps like WowApp and Pi App have ways to earn like this (just keep the app running) plus also earn points through playing occasional games/watch videos etc.
However, one does not needs to constantly write something, do any actions and in some ways, these can also be classified in the Passive category.

Next: What works in favor of these Apps/Sites:

1) You want to sleep during the afternoon since you had to wake up early in the morning or just feeling unwell.
Or your sleep time is already coming.
Yet you long for earning a bit extra.
Well, you just need to keep these Apps running. They work even when you sleep.

2) You do not need to put in too much effort and the fact that these Apps keep on running in the background means that you can continue doing whatever your need is or like and not bother about doing different things.

3) Some people who cannot commit themselves to work on sites which need more time might opt for these passive apps i.e you get referrals and referral income.
On one App, for some time in June and early July, one or more of my referrals became very active.
I earned way more from my referrals than what I earned on my own.

What is not so good in these Apps/Sites :

1) Often the so called Passive Apps need some manual intervention. It could be resetting a password, changing some setting or something else.
Sometimes doing so can distract from our other tasks.
Also we could ignore more useful and productive sites/work in doing so.

2) Some Passive Apps/Sites drain a lot of battery, but the passive earning rate is very slow.
I would need to collect data to specify quantitative numbers.
Yet think of it like: You are paying for electricity. The Apps consume battery.
You need to charge your mobile or laptop in between.
So in a way, our overall earnings are getting impacted.

3) Overall earnings rate could be low. So your mind and time goes into something that is not so productive.
Instead there could be areas where you might need to invest some time and money initially, yet in the medium to longer run, you would benefit much more.

Not a comprehensive overview. Yet what all I have shared is from my own experience.
Do you have any thoughts to share on this matter?
Any experiences?

Thanks for sharing that with us ptrikha21. Have you been using any passive earning sites yourself? How are they working out for you?

All you need to remember to reap Passive Income online is "Daily Compound Interest". Once you build your balance (which can be done for free) you can just let it sit there and it will return positive cash flow without fail. The best part is whatever it pays you today will earn more every day going forward. A classic example would be staking Crypto, like when I had a balance equivalent to $2 USD that was too small to meet the minimum to withdraw when I quit going to FreeBitco.in for a couple of years and when I finally went back it had grown to over $38. Needless to say, I am a regular visitor now.
