A few years ago, I became interested in tai chi. I am not sure what made me so interested. I keep procrastinating though! How am I supposed to figure out if I like tai chi or not?
I am an highest honors graduate in fitness and nutrition. I have worried about my health for years.
When I was younger, when living with my family, I jumped every night on a mini trampoline before bed. Go ahead and laugh but I did not want to go to bed with food on my stomach!
I was on the dance line so obviously how evenings after school were spent practicing.
As I got older, I attempted exercise following Joyce Vedral, Richard Simmons, Denise Austin and Leslie Sansone. The only real winner was Leslie Sansone, guru of Walk Away The Pounds fame. With her, you do not need to worry what you look like, if the weather is rain, if there are mean dogs loose (my fear), if you do not have sidewalks, etc.
Yes, I follow the Slim Fast diet and am a flexitarian following the Mediterranean diet. Make sense?
But, I have kind-of gotten sedentary as I sit at my desk alot while writing.
I attempted chair yoga but almost fell asleep in the shower afterwards. I could have fallen and gotten hurt.
So, I still practice Walk Away The Pounds on my own without need for a video.
Why am I giving you a dissertation on my exercise and diet? Not to give up!
I think that I am going to practice tai chi soon! I have not given up!
Tai chi does not burn a ton of calories, but some is better than none, right?
Do you have an exercise that you have wanted to practice but have given up on or have procrastinated doing?
Why not begin a new lifestyle food-wise and exercise-wise?
Why not begin having a fitness and nutrition membership via:
https://www.weightlossbuddy.com/
I would tell you:
https://www.myfitnesspal.com
But other than having a few close members, the website does nothing toward my weight.
Tai chi is so calming, nothing like, for example, tae bo, which I think is basically like punching!
You do not need to buy any DVDs, just practice tai chi with your own personal instructor Helen Lilang on YouTube with the attached YouTube video in the comfort of your own home!
