I have experienced some of these reasons to quit a job… almost all of them. So, I am not just talking my talking. I am walking the walk. Most are from school days, and some within the past few years. Maybe we can start a good discussion?
Better hours
—Fortunately, my school classes could fit around my work hours. We did not have access to laptops during those days. I only had a word processor that all of the girls in my dorm borrowed!
Ability to work from home
—I quit my job at the cafe. One of many reasons was that I wanted to work online as a writer.
Wanting to go to school
—I want to further my education as an aromatherapist from home via the internet on coursesity.com..
Not paid enough
—My jobs have never paid more than minimum wage which is not very appealing.
Toxic work environment
—If you do not feel safe, do not do it! Quit!
No happiness
—Your customers or clients are not going to want to do business with an unhappy person.
You want to do something new
—Get out of your comfort box? What about that hobby of your’s? Do it!
Listen to your body
—Are you sick of going there, such as a bad stomach ache?
You are miserable
—Do not get your mind in a deep depression!
You have non-stop stress
—-This causes a stress hormone called cortisol to go straight to your belly causing belly fat the most dangerous fat!
You are being let go
—More than 7 million lost their jobs due to the coronavirus
You got your dream job
—How about you get that dream job? I get to write now on a couple of websites and of course… who can forget ForumCoin!
Yes, of course, it is nice to leave a notice before leaving. My problem with the cafe was that I was beyond of sick of working there. My back felt broken in two (2), if there were one (1) piece left on the floor of dirt on the floor I would be told, I had to clean the bathroom, get the garbage ready, serve ice cream, dust the shelves, etc. I was the barista! So, I just got fed up and quit. Don’t get me wrong, the pay was good but not worth the pain.
Have you ever had some good or bad job experiences? Tell how you felt or feel!
