When I was younger, I always wanted to feel and look good, especially when going someplace. This is high maintenance. I am ashamed to tell you this, but I would spend my money on makeup instead of on grocery money for my loved ones.

When I moved out on my own, I grew up.

I began to buy makeup from dollar stores. Have you ever heard of Dollar Tree? Such store is where I buy my translucent powder, lip stick, eye shadow, bronzer and sometimes blush and mascara.

Have you ever heard of Family Dollar? Such store is where I buy my eye liner.

What are some other ways to save money on makeup?

A roommate has started a Christmas tradition. She has Santa Claus bring me a tote bag of makeup every year. Why not hint to people if they ask you what you want for Christmas?

If you are stubborn and just have to have an expensive name brand, check the store’s weekly flyer for sales. Quite often, they have a percentage off or buy one get one free. On clearance? Grab ‘em if you can!

Use coupons! This may seem old-fashioned, but why not? Do you know of people that throw their coupons away? Ask them for the coupons! One persons trash is another person’s treasure! Look at the trash can in your local post office. Ask the librarians at your local library if you may a look at their coupons.

Sell makeup, such as Mary Kay or Avon! When I was in school, there was a Mary Kay lady who called me repeatedly asking me to sell Mary Kay. I should have dropped out of school and gotten the job. Unfortunately, I do not have the transportation these days in order to do sales work. But there is a way around such predicament! For example, with Avon, you get your own personal website. I find this to be a nice feature, but meeting the customer face-to-face would make it easier to see what the customer needs.

So, now you have the tools you need to feel good about yourself… affordably! Yes! That even means high maintenance!

Personally, I like the dramatic look. Some women are subtle. Some like the natural look. How about you?

I receive compliments when wearing makeup. Men look at me. However, I am sure that actresses get the same attention when wearing makeup than without.

I like women who look naturally as opposed tgo those who will put a bunch of makeup. Yes, the natural look does an appetizer on my side as opposed to the opposite. Just a lip shiner is enough!

I use make up every day but I keep it simple, I use foundation, mascara, blush, highlighter and a tinted lip moisturizer, this is enough for me.

Yes, that is me and what I love. I simply can't stand with my woman applying all the makeup. I like women who keep it natural than forcing themselves to look what they are not exact. Makeup when over used make one feel different than reality which is wrong - my own perception and belief. However, those who apply to some extent again look beautiful though the natural ones still rank no.1 .
