Pop How to make chat gpt sound less robotic.

Postby Netherrealmer » 28 Jun 2023, 06:36

I do use Chatgpt to improve my grammar for my Novel but All of the prompt and content are my creations.
Harnessing the true essence of artificial intelligence has become critical in the quest for more human-like conversations. This article looks at ways to improve Chat GPT responses so that they are more in line with our human sensibilities. I studied these methods so I can write novels and books and I hope it helps you too.

1. If you see these words and phrases, replace them: Chat gpt loves using the words:Eager, eagerly, wild ride, refreshing, looking forward, fresh, adds layer, keeps me on my toes, let me tell you, refreshing, breath, thrill, thrilled, thrilling, edge of my seat, embark, enthralling, captivating, captivated, adds layer, engrossed, captivate, inclusivity, enthusiast, hey everyone, hello, wow, the fact, testament, keen, unique take, let me tell you, adds a whole new layer, edge-of-my-seat.

I am not saying complete banning for these words, Just do not put them on the same paragraph. Most of the time, I do avoid them at all cost but sometimes I let it past if its only one word. It will not listen to you if you ban to ban multiple words, you must do the paraphrasing yourself. You will end up screaming if you ask it to ban words, since it will be inconsistent. So you will do the word replacements manually.

2. If Chatgpt's result sounds way too intelligent and unbelievable to be you, ask it to dumb down or make it more casual. When you told chatgpt to dumb down the results sounds more believably human. I can sense a post is made by Chatgpt if the post is too articulate and smart when the person is not known to talk that way.

3. Give a personality, You can use any celebrities who are relevant before and during 2021 (Chatgpt's knowledge ends with 2021) According to chat gpt it can impersonate the following celebrities and fictional characters. Ask the Ai to only copy the personality so it wont say the celebrity's name.

Donald Trump
Ellen DeGeneres
Morgan Freeman
Oprah Winfrey
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Meryl Streep
Kim Kardashian
Tom Hanks
Christopher Walken
Jeff Goldblum
Jennifer Lawrence
Bill Clinton
Tina Fey
Emma Watson
Scarlett Johansson
Johnny Depp
Angelina Jolie
Ryan Reynolds
Ariana Grande
Jim Carrey
Kevin Hart
Will Smith
Sylvester Stallone
Taylor Swift
Lady Gaga
Beyoncé
Justin Bieber
Robert De Niro
Al Pacino
Samuel L. Jackson
Matthew McConaughey
Sandra Bullock
Julia Roberts
Benedict Cumberbatch
Daniel Radcliffe
Emma Stone
Zendaya
Rihanna
Brad Pitt
Dolly Parton
Joe Rogan
Alex Jones
Honey Boo Boo
RuPaul
Joan Rivers
Spongebob
Mr.Krabs

It can also copy the writing style of the following writers-
William Shakespeare
Sidney Sheldon
Jane Austen
Ernest Hemingway
Mark Twain
F. Scott Fitzgerald
Virginia Woolf
J.R.R. Tolkien
Charles Dickens
Edgar Allan Poe
Emily Dickinson
Oscar Wilde
George Orwell
Toni Morrison
Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Harper Lee
Leo Tolstoy
Salman Rushdie
J.K. Rowling
Stephen King
Maya Angelou

This is the original version of the prompt:

This is after I gave it a personality

4. Here's the thing: Chat GPT sometimes has a tendency to repeat things over and over again. It gets stuck on a loop, you know? So, to keep things dynamic and interesting, we need to provide it with new information. However, there's a catch: Chat GPT's knowledge is limited to what it learned up until 2021. It has no clue about what happened in 2022 and 2023. If you notice it going on and on about the same topic, simply manually replace that part with something different. By adding variety and avoiding repetition, we can ensure that our conversation stays engaging and avoids becoming monotonous. Add new information it can use.

5.
Intentionally add mistakes. It perfectly fine to purposefully include a few errors and not worry too much about perfect Grammar, you know? When people chat, they sometimes make mistakes or say things incorrectly, which adds to the humanity and relatability. So, instead of striving for perfection and opulence, let us embrace those inconsistencies and endearing oddities. It's like spicing up the conversation and making it more down-to-earth and human-like. So, relax and don't worry about being flawless. If you're too perfect, they'll believe you're using chatgpt.

I believe since chat GPT is AI, one can also try to show Interest and empathy:

Demonstrate empathy and genuine interest in the user's queries or concerns. Acknowledge their emotions and provide supportive responses, which can make the interaction feel more personal.
I really loved the article @Netherrealmer.

I have never asked ChatGPT to follow the style of certain writers. I think this is a wonderful technique to make your text less robotic.

What do yout think of writers who use ChatGpt and then rewrite generated text and make mistakes on purpose so it does not looks like A.I written text?

ChatGPT has invaded so much into our lives these days. And no wonder, soon people will find ways to make it sound less robotic and more personal. Well, I write for my personal expressions and joy of writing, I have stayed away from ChatGPT so far and have no plan to use it too in near future.

Professional users give a lot of details to A.I. Also they use A.I to rewrite first versions of texts.
I read on forums where people hire writers how to recognize A.I text from real writers text.

I think the language model that would sound less robotic is the one built by Elon Musk. I have forgotten the name of the AI but chat GPT is robotic beyond redemption.

Very informative article.
Here are some of my tips to make ChatGPT sound less robotic:

1. Ask questions back or continue a conversation thread instead of isolated statements
2. Use natural language, slang or idioms rather than perfectly proper writing
3. Add some harmless human quirks like hesitations or changes in points
4. Seek perspectives on emotions, relationships or creativity rather than just facts
5. Provide feedback when responses seem particularly stiff or unnatural

You can tell chat GPT to use less professional and technical terms related to a query so that it won't sound monotonous.n

Chat GPT is a robot. And it can only attempt to sound less robotic. But can it actually sound so?

The process looks like too much work already. If you have to manually remove all those words, you can as well do the writeup yourself.

I think that ChatGPT can still be very helpful to your writing, even when you have to do some editing. It is probably a bit much to expect it to give you exactly what you want, without requiring any improvement to what it produces. A small bit of editing will not take much time in reality, at least not compared to writing the full piece of content yourself.

The key to get great response it to create great prompt. You need to be very specific with the tone, language style, etc. For instance, if you mention who your audience might be, it will generate text that is most appropriate to that audience.

When one is being judged on one's prowess when it comes to writing, taking help from chat gpt smacks of cheating Some writing Sites do not allow it. Having said that there are other areas one can conveniently take help from chat gpt such as writing novels where substance is more important than the flow of language.

I tried Chatgpt and found it good. Badly, Google seems to have articles generated purely by that AI and thus I am no longer using it. May be for reference purposes.
